Frequently asked questions on submitting
announcements for Ultimate Celebrations
 

Online Submissions:

May I include a photo?

You may submit up to five digital photos to include in your announcement. More can be added for an additional fee. 

Is my announcement guaranteed to publish?

Yes. We will publish all wedding announcements online once we receive your final approval. Your announcement will go live on the date you have requested.

Do I have to write the announcement? 

No, we have a team of writers that will compose and layout the announcement. A proof will be submitted for your final approval.

Can I write my own announcement and How?

Yes, you can submit your announcement already written the way you want it to read or there is a sample announcement here, although yours does not necessarily have to follow the same format.

What do I do when I am done writing my announcement?

You may submit your announcement and photo online at Ultimate Celebrations under the celebration form you are running or you can email to CustomerService@UltimateCelebrations.orgAlso, you may mail your announcement and photo to Ultimate Celebrations, Attn: Tonya Strahan, P. O. Box 8191, Shreveport, LA 71148.

May I submit my announcement on disk?

Yes. Please make sure to save your text as “.txt” format AND include a hard copy in case the disk cannot be read. Clearly label your disk for identification. Keep in mind that disks are NOT returnable.

May I submit my photo on disk?

Yes. The resolution should be at least 170 dpi for publication. Acceptable file formats are JPEG. Clearly label your disk for identification. Again, keep in mind that disks are NOT returnable.

May I submit my announcement now and specify that I would like it go live at a later date?

yes, but not recommended, due to the possibility of change of plans or loss of your information. 

I got married a year ago. May I submit my wedding announcement?

Yes, you may submit the wedding announcement at anytime, however we recommend with an announcement a year old to submit as an anniversary. You can submit anniversaries, birthdays, births, and other special moments online.

Print Submissions:

We are shooting for our first publication of Ultimate Celebrations Magazine  in the Spring of 2011. This will be printed quarterly and feature all of our Celebrations.

What's the cost?

There is no cost for your copy fo the magazine. Additional copies will be available for a small fee. 

Is my announcement guaranteed to publish in Ultimate Celebrations magazine?

Yes, every celebration that is posted on the Ultimate Celebration website will be included in the magazine. The announcement in the magazine will be formatted to fit print.
