Wedding Sample

Draper-Strahan

Tonya Draper and Terry Strahan, both of Shreveport, LA were united in marriage on Friday, July 24, 2009 at The Gazebo in front of family and friends. A reception followed at The Gazabo.

The bride is the daughter of Nelson and Vera Moore of Shreveport, LA. She is the granddaughter of the late David Tew, Sr, Arletta Tew and James Moore and the late Ettie Moore. The groom is the son of Marie Ward of Shreveport.

Given in marriage by her family and escorted by her son, the bride wore a simple A-line bridal gown of off white. She carried a bouquet of white roses which had a poem of her grandmother's nesettled inside.

Julia Tew,best friend of the bride, served as maid of honor. Jessica Moore was the flower girl and the honorary flower girls were Jentri Moore and Lindsay Craiger. Bubba Jordan served as best man.

Tonya is a graduate of Woodlawn High School. She is currently the owner of Ultimate Celebrations website. Terry is a graduate of Huntington High School. He is currently the Market Manager at Cotten's Grocery.

Following a honeymoon cruise, the couple will make their home in Shreveport, LA.

On August 20, 2010, John and Terri Bates were united in marriage. The union was blessed with two children, Lindsay Bates and Jordan Bates and wife Stacy; and one grandchild, Jackson Bates. The couple was honored by their children at a surprise dinner where karaoke followed.
